Californie Sailin'
FROM CALIFORNIE DOWN MEXICO WAY,
I'VE SAILED FROM BAJA TO NORTH O THE BAY,
RIDING CURRENTS AND CRESTING THE WAVES,
THE WARM WIND BLOWS MY TROUBLES AWAY.
GRAY WHALES PASSING WITH GREATEST OF EASE,
BLOWIN' THEIR SPOUTS WHEN'ER THEY PLEASE,
THEY SWIM FROM ALASKA DOWN BAJA WAY,
THEN SWIM BACK NORTH AND
SHOW YOUNG ONES THE WAY,
GOING UP NORTH THE WATERS LIKE ICE,
DOWN IN THE SOUTH O IT FEELS SO NICE,
BEAUTY ABOUNDS WHER'ER YOU ARE
THE ROADMAPS THE SKY,
AND YOU FOLLOW THE STARS!
