which way did the wind blow.

Did you see the wind coming

which way did she go.

She enrages the fire

and torments the sea

makes the leaves ruffle

and grass sway so free.

She fills the sails as the boat it whisks by

and lofts up the kite as it flies so high,

whistles through trees that grow so tall

and swirls colored leaves

in the middle of fall.

She grooms the surf when it blows offshore

sprays the top off the waves

making barrels galore.
