Minutes – Surfrider Meeting, Oct. 10, 2006 5:30pm

Present: Walt, Jackie, Rodney, Julie, Jack and Bea, Paul and Victoia, Robert , Ann and, Kevin.

Minutes of previous meeting approved.

Treasurer’s Report – Jackie

Chapter Membership – Julie

Blue Water Task Force: Water testing in conjunction with county continues. Suggested that we resume testing in Pudding Creek.

Coastal Access – Virgin Creek: Status remains the same.

MacKerricher Park Sewer Line –Victoria will talk to Bob W. about composing a letter. It was later suggested that this be in tandem with maintenance of Haul road between MacKerricher park bridge and Pudding Creek. Some areas of the road and sewer pipe are in bad condition. Victoria will report and next meeting.

Annual Party/Fundraiser – 2007 surfari

Date set for Sat, Feb 10th. Similar format to last year. Jam will look into Student Surf videos. Victoria will request permission for use of Women’s surf video.

Last year was a $5 dollar admission charge and children under 13 free. Tostadas and nachos , cookies and beverages to be served.
